Job Description

Fright Fest Set-Up Crew Member – $14/HR 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 4900 Six Flags Road, Eureka, MO 63025

Summary of Job:

Assist with the set up and the maintenance of theaters, scare zones, and haunted attractions throughout the park for Fright Fest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in all Fright Fest set-up with the ability to set up and maintain all décor including props, lights, and set pieces Maintain a focus on attention to detail Work as a team, collaborate, follow written and verbal directions, and take initiative Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as needed Maintain overall daily cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency Will be occasionally operating man lifts and other machinery Will be required to complete a fall protection course Will be required to complete a general lift operator safety course Will be working with minor electrical equipment May be asked to help maintain the look of all areas during the run of Fright Fest Must be able to preserve confidential information Work around common allergens (pollen, dust, hay, straw, corn, latex, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age with weekday availability Those 18 and older may be required to drive company vehicles pending background check, drivers safety course, and possession of a valid US Driver’s License Must be able to complete job duties including climbing, kneeling, working in dark or confined spaces, lifting up to 60lbs. and working in heights up to 60ft Must be able to operate staple guns and wire snips Must be able to work efficiently while being attentive to detail Must maintain a positive work environment Must be able to confidently troubleshoot problems and identify solutions to positively affect progress Must be able to handle stressful situations Must have strong work ethic and communication skills Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
