The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, ensuring that every sandwich is crafted to perfection. This role is essential in delivering high-quality products to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and efficient workflow. Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in cafés or restaurants, is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with grocery store operations or sales experience is a plus. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills for managing inventory and portioning ingredients accurately.
