In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich preparation area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold hygiene standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing customer orders. Assist with inventory management, including tracking ingredients and supplies needed for sandwich preparation. Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or grocery store setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for handling retail math related to inventory and order processing.
