- Job Description
- Responsible for the final preparation of all food items served in the food service area in accordance with guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the kitchen supervisor or team leader. Candidates will be required to correctly portion and plate food based on work instructions and maintain a clean and safe work station. It is imperative to follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

- Essential Skills
- + Experience in food service, food preparation, and tray line operations. + Skill in food portioning and plating. + Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Ability to read and comprehend written instructions. + Basic math skills, such as adding and subtracting two-digit numbers to calculate portioning. + Demonstrate safe and correct use of cleaning products.

- The role is based in a kitchen environment inside a hospital, characterized by a team-oriented culture where everyone works collectively to deliver on the dietary needs of patients, hospital staff, and visitors.
The dress code includes black pants, a black shirt, and slip-resistant shoes. Candidates’ work schedule will remain constant during the contract, but after becoming permanent, they will move to a schedule that includes working every other weekend. The shifts are Sunday to Thursday, with options for 6:30 am to 2:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Tuesday to Thursday with the same shift options.

- This is a Contract position based out of NA, North Carolina.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
