This is the purrfect position for burnt out vet techs/assistants who want to remain in the animal field but don’t want to handle dogs anymore because of the intense physical demands, or those who are mentally burnt out from dealing with seeing illnesses. We are a happy and relaxed resort who love to spoil cats! •
ONLY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE HAD 1 YEAR MINIMUM OF CARING FOR ANIMALS
(preferably cats)
IN A VETERINARY HOSPTIAL WILL BE CONSIDERED. OWNING A CAT IS NOT CONSIDERED EXPERIENCE AND REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED. YOU CANNOT BE AFRAID TO HANDLE CATS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TEMPERAMENT!

Responsibilities Include:
Cleaning and sanitizing condos Cleaning and sanitizing entire resort Playtime with the kitties, give lots of TLC and attention! Photographing and videoing cats for client report cards and social media posts Holding cats for the lead groomer as needed Direct contact with our clients. Must be personable, friendly, and accommodating at all times Retrieving and returning cats to clients Giving tours of our resort Monitoring the well-being of our boarders, and be able to recognize any issues that may arise with their health. Reporting any issues to owner or manager Follow very specific instructions on handling the cats, their care instructions, and our cleaning protocols (we have a set of daily, weekly, and monthly duties that all employees are required to complete) Medicating the cats when necessary

•Those who will be considered for the position are required to do a working interview. If hired, you will be placed on a 30-day probation period. During that time, we will evaluate your skills, work ethic, ability to follow instructions, ability to work independently, thoroughness with cleaning, communication with peers and clients, and of course, how you care for the cats.
