BOH Team Member Falls Local at Wendell Falls 5920 Taylor Road, Wendell, NC 27591 Falls Local is a family owned restaurant in Wendell. We are a American tavern themed restaurant with everything from smash burgers, pizza and wings. We are open Monday-Saturday with guaranteed Sundays off.

Job Overview:

This post is for a part-time and full time positions, evening and weekend availability are required for this position. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and food preparation areas. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and adhering to food safety guidelines.

Duties:

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of ingredients
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in culinary or food service roles is preferred
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
