Part Time Deli Clerk Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Part Time Deli Clerk Harris Teeter 1432 Brogden Woods Drive, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders
• Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Assist with stocking and replenishing deli products as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
• Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
