Part Time Meat/Seafood Clerk Harris Teeter 1432 Brogden Woods Drive, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Responsibilities:

• Carve and slice meat products according to customer preferences and portion sizes
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitation of equipment and utensils
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of the meat products
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Assist in stocking and rotating inventory as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or retail environment preferred
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating portion sizes
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
