As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that each visit is enjoyable and memorable. Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer orders efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in compliance with food safety standards.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions about menu items, and handle any concerns or feedback.
• Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and assisting with inventory counts.
• Ensure adherence to food handling guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while effectively managing time. Requirements
• Previous experience in a barista or food service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Understanding of food safety practices related to food preparation and handling is essential.
