Arts and Museum Administration USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Internal Candidates Exist The Equipment Crew members will work under the direction of the Summer Youth Music School (SYMS) Camp Director and the SYMS Equipment Crew Head to ensure the SYMS faculty, staff, and students have all equipment necessary for their rehearsals, classes, and performances. The Crew members will respond in a timely manner to the direction of the Crew Head and forward to the Crew Head any concerns about faculty requests or interactions with the crew. Because the Equipment Crew members will work near minors for the duration of camp, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a background security check and a training module in the protection of minors. Duties/Responsibilities Move musical instruments and equipment (100%)
Following the directives and schedule set by the SYMS Equipment Crew Head and Camp Director, crew members will move musical instruments and equipment to the places they are needed for classes, rehearsals, and performances. Crew members will use standard best practices for the proper care and preservation of musical instruments and equipment when completing their work.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

Undergraduate degree in music education or performance, or equivalent experience as the member of a music production crew.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of and experience with best practices in the care, maintenance, and moving of sensitive musical instruments and electronic equipment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively. An ability to respond to respectful requests and direction is a necessity.
