Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
• Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide excellent customer service
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow recipes and portion sizes for food preparation
• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the deli

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a deli, restaurant, or food service setting is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time
