Deli Associate (PT) The Market at Sickles Farm Little Silver, NJ The Deli Associate provides excellent customer service and keeps all Deli cases stocked, rotated and clean. The associate participates in the daily setup, maintenance, and breakdown of this department. Description A Deli Associate is responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Providing excellent customer service

• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operating equipment and tools such as slicer, toaster, microwave, and knives Slice, package, weigh and label product Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company standards and customer preferences Maintain knowledge of all available products
• Promotes deli department sales
• Accurately and promptly answers customer’s questions about deli department items
• Merchandise/arrange/displays product with the Deli Manager and Supervisor in the retail space
• Ensure visual appearance in the department
• (i.e.- keeping displays visually attractive, rotated and replenished as needed) Handles questions and feedback in a professional manner Assist with store events

English Required Qualifications and Experience:

1+ years of Deli Retail Experience Knowledge of Deli, Specialty Food and Grocery Industry a plus Required education or certifications: High School Diploma or GED Working Conditions; Job Requirements and Physical Demands / Requirements that relate directly to the essential job duties and functions.
