Deli Clerk Natale’s Bagel Nosh Deli & Catering 177 Columbia Turnpike, Florham Park, NJ 07932 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. This role requires a strong focus on food safety and sanitation, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and assemble deli items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling products when appropriate. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Adhere to time management practices to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
