Warren, NJ 07059 Overview We are seeking experienced and dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing food items, and ensuring that the Deli area is clean and well-maintained. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a kitchen or café setting, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space. Sanitize workstations and equipment regularly to ensure food safety. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in a Deli, or quick-service fast food restaurant is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math applications. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A team player who can work collaboratively with others in a busy setting.
