The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Kitchen/Deli Associate, your shifts will be split between our kitchen and full service deli. You will be responsible for making made to order sandwiches/flatbreads/salads in our kitchen and slicing deli meats and cheeses in our full service deli. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in the food industry and have experience in meal preparation. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble deli items including sandwiches, salads, and other meal options according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, knives, and ovens safely and efficiently. Ensure the deli area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient in food preparation techniques, including knife skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
