As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and cleanliness. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change. Operate point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS) to manage orders and payments seamlessly. Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the café or restaurant, including bussing tables and cleaning work areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate. Follow all health and safety regulations within the food industry. Qualifications Previous experience in sales or cash handling is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, particularly in quick-service fast food restaurants or cafés, is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards is beneficial. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
