As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll be the face of our bakery and a key part of delivering that experience. You’ll play a dynamic role that combines cashiering, coffee prep, and order packing. You’ll greet customers warmly, answer questions about our menu, operate the register, craft high-quality drinks, and ensure each pastry is packed perfectly. Cleanliness, accuracy, and friendliness are essential. Responsibilities Welcome every guest with warmth and enthusiasm Prepare drip coffee to standard recipes Pack rolls carefully and consistently for dine-in, takeout, and delivery Maintain FOH cleanliness throughout your shift, including tables, floors, equipment, and self-serve stations Sanitize surfaces regularly following NYC food safety guidelines Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning Ensure all orders are accurate and visually appealing Communicate clearly with back-of-house and customers about wait times or issues Prepare and stock packaging stations with bags, napkins, utensils, etc. Maintain clean equipment and restock bar and packaging supplies as needed Check brew times and log freshness if applicable Provide quick, courteous service even during rushes Answer questions about products, flavors, and ingredients Accurately take and ring up orders using the POS system Handle cash and card transactions with care and precision Maintain a clean and organized register area Skills 1+ year experience in food service, barista, or retail preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Written and spoken English Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy A team player with a kind, can-do attitude A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for 6-8 hours Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Must be available to work weekends and mornings We’re also hiring Shift Leads, please see our Shift Lead opening if you think that fits your skills better!
