Responsibilities Cut various types of meats to order, ensuring presentation and portion control meet company standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the carving station, including regular sanitization of tools and surfaces. Assist in bussing tables and helping other staff members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Utilize Aloha POS system for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices throughout all stages of food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle peak service periods while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning meat accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is essential. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is willing to help colleagues in various capacities as needed.
