Deli Associate part time Moss Street Deli and Country S Hudson Falls, NY 12839 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our family owned business for 4-5 shifts a week. Some Saturdays from 10-3 will be required. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and assemble deli products according to company standards, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including equipment and work surfaces. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing customer transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies regarding food preparation and storage. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen and grocery store environment. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a deli, café, or grocery store setting is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to operate a POS system effectively for cash handling transactions. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area. Must be able to work afternoon hours, including some Saturdays as needed. No holidays required.!
