Job Description
Culinary Team Member Backyard Beans Coffee Company 22 E Butler Ave, Ambler, PA 19002 This position requires flexibility to work shifts as scheduled – weekends required. Drivers license and transportation required. Entry level starts at $15/hour + tips/Experienced $16+/hour + tips. Work hours 6:30am-2:30pm – full time, weekend availability required
GENERAL SUMMARY
Line Cooks must have a passion for creating and serving menu items at an exacting standard of quality and freshness; a desire to grow sales through attention to detail and speed of service by developing efficient time management practices; as well as a strong understanding of Food Safety Standards required by local and state health departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare weekly food inventory by slicing, portioning, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces and syrups Help track & support food inventory for daily/weekly sales as directed Properly cook, prepare and build menu items, such as sandwiches, burritos, and toasts Properly cooks on maintains flat top to standards & recipes Ensure preparation station and kitchen are setup and stocked Perform daily cleanliness and maintenance as assigned Follow meticulous cleaning practices to ensure a clean & safe kitchen work space Assist Manager in maintaining Food Safety/ServSafe Standards Communicate all operational and maintenance issues in a timely manner to Management Other duties as assigned
