The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. This position involves food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area. Duties Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing information about menu items and catering to dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives for food preparation. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Handle cash register transactions accurately when required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours. Uphold hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hotel catering is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including meat cutting, is a plus. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial but not required. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
