in Newport County! The Roasted Clove Deli + Catering is a small, but very busy deli. We pride ourselves in fresh, quality ingredients. Our line has humbled the most seasoned line cooks. We are BUSY. We have fun, and we work HARD. We are open for grab n go breakfast at 8am, along with soups, sandwiches, salads and prepared meals to go. We close at 5pm, and are currently open Monday

• Saturday, will be open on Sundays in the Spring.

Shifts range from 7-3 or 10-5:30, 5 days a week.

“`Duties“`

• Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and established recipes in a very fast paced kitchen.
• Stocking, restocking, and cleaning station during and after service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Be ready to kick some ass in a kitchen with a great vibe!
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized sandwich station
• Multitasking / Organizational skills are a must
• Please know how to properly sweep & mop a floor
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed “`Skills“`
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and temperature control
• Culinary knowledge to create delicious and visually appealing sandwiches
• Experience in the food service industry is required
