Seafood Clerk Position Available In Washington, Rhode Island

Seafood Clerk Ocean Catch Seafood South Kingstown, RI 02879 Join our team at our family-owned retail seafood market, where we take pride in providing high-quality seafood and excellent customer service! We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to help keep our market running smoothly and able to start as soon as possible. Hours are daytime no earlier than 8:30am and no later than 6pm (Fridays 7pm), hours will vary, Sundays off and a weekday off (for full time). shifts usually are either 8:30-4, 10-6, 11-5, 8:30-6, 8:30-3, depending on the day. Part time shifts will be 3-5 days a week and shifts are 4-6 hours, shifts would be afternoon shifts to close.

Position Details:

As a Retail Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

• Weighing, cutting, and wrapping fish and other products
• Assisting customers at the register and answering product questions (No prior seafood knowledge required, our experienced team will provide training!)
• Keeping the seafood display stocked, organized, and visually appealing
• Receiving and putting away deliveries
• Helping with store cleanup, including opening/closing procedures and general upkeep
• Light food prep, such as mixing and packaging sauces, stuffing shrimp, and shucking lobster meat What We are

• availability to work during peak times, including Saturdays in the busy summer months and major holidays like July 4th
• for college students we are only able to hire students that live in state, due to summer/holidays being our busy time. All of our seasonal positions have been filled, we are ideally looking for year round help from our new hire. ———
