As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to work efficiently while maintaining food safety standards will contribute to the overall success of our café. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and café recipes. Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation area. Operate the POS system for cash handling and processing customer transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering any questions about menu items. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders during peak hours. Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock and reporting any shortages or issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the café. Experience Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
