Meat/Seafood Clerk Harris Teeter 515 Freshfields Drive, Johns Island, SC 29455
Responsibilities:
- Carve and slice meat products according to customer preferences and portion sizes
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitation of equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of the meat products
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist in stocking and rotating inventory as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or retail environment preferred
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating portion sizes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
