Sea Mountain Highway, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 Job Summary As a Deli Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met and that customers have a pleasant experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will contribute to the overall success of our deli operations. Duties Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, while adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment. Engage with customers by providing friendly service and answering any questions regarding menu items. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory are necessary. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus, enhancing the customer experience while driving revenue.
