In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by preparing high-quality food items and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and established recipes. Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and provide accurate change to customers. Assist customers with their orders, offering suggestions and upselling menu items when appropriate. Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, including washing dishes and cleaning work surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Skills Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Culinary skills with an ability to prepare various sandwich types efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
