Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all food safety protocols. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory. Culinary skills with an emphasis on sandwich preparation techniques. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work.
