- 6:30 PM (Afternoon BOH Shift) Job Overview Parlor Doughnuts is looking for dedicated and hardworking Back of House Team Members to join our kitchen team.
This role is essential in ensuring efficient kitchen operations while maintaining the high-quality products that define the Parlor Doughnuts experience. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, committed to food safety, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Doughnut Glazing (“The Den”) Glaze, top, and decorate doughnuts according to company standards Keep the display case fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing Replenish glazes, toppings, and other supplies as needed Kitchen Prep and Cooking Prepare and cook food items following established recipes and quality standards Assist in portioning and proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness Support menu development by offering creative input for seasonal offerings Dishwashing & Kitchen Cleanliness Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware throughout the shift Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and prep areas Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations Keep equipment, workstations, and floors clean and organized Team Collaboration Work closely with team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations Assist with inventory management, monitoring supplies, and restocking as needed Collaborate with Front of House staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Catering Support Assist in catering events as needed, preparing large batches of doughnuts and other menu items Ensure catering orders are fulfilled accurately and on time Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or restaurant environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety regulations (SERVSAFE certification is a plus) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to take on multiple Back of House tasks as needed Experience in meal preparation, baking, or catering is a plus but not required Why Work with Us?
