We conceptualize our Department as a Team, wherein we all share equal ownership in creating a work culture grounded in principles of integrity, trust, maturity, mutual respect, transparent communication, healthy boundaries, responsibility, problem solving, and adaptability. The positions fall under two categories: (1) CYM Coordinator, and (2) CYM Team Member. CYM Team Members will work Sunday mornings from 9am to 12pm. (Opportunities for more hours and responsibilities are likely.) The CYM Coordinator will work Sunday mornings from 9am to 12pm and throughout the week (either on-site, remote, or in the community). Individuals for either position must be dependable, love kiddos, and be able to work well with others. CYM Team Member Responsibilities Cultivate a welcoming environment for children and parents. Play with, care for, and educate children, 3 years and older. Maintain a safe, engaging, mutually respectful, & fun learning environment. Interact well with all cathedral members, nursery workers, staff, and leadership. Willing to participate in a team culture and align with systems and procedures that support safety, efficiency, sanitation, and faith-based education. CYM Qualifications 15 years old 2 references Arrives on time 1-page resume Positive and patient demeanor. Ability to build rapport with people across the lifespan. Able to follow rules and guidelines of Safe Church for the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee. Expected hours (Team Member): 2 – 10 per week CYM Coordinator Responsibilities Carry out the responsibilities of the CYM Team Member, as well as: Support the Director in developing, co-delivering, and assessing curriculum and programs. Support the growth of the CYM programming by applying your creativity, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Be open and willing to expand into this role as there is opportunity for personal, professional, and position growth.

CYM Coordinator Qualifications Preferred:

College student in a relevant program (e.g., music, education, social work, psychology, religion, counseling, development, etc.) 2 references Arrives on time 1-page resume Positive and patient demeanor. Ability to build rapport with people across the lifespan. Able to follow rules and guidelines of Safe Church for the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee. Expected Hours (Coordinator): 4 – 20 per week

Experience Teaching:
