In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling delicious sandwiches while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their satisfaction with every meal. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Utilize time management skills to efficiently complete orders during peak hours. Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash transactions and processing payments. Assist in upselling additional items to enhance the customer experience. Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all food products. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Familiarity with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
