We’re seeking enthusiastic, personable, and detail-oriented Kava Tenders to join our growing team. As a Kava Tender, you’ll be the face of the NectarLab experience—responsible for crafting botanical beverages with precision, educating guests on our offerings, and creating a warm, welcoming environment. This role blends the art of mixology with wellness-focused service, perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, social, and health-forward setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of botanical beverages including kava, herbal teas, and specialty elixirs Educate customers on the effects, history, and benefits of plant-based drinks Maintain a clean and organized bar area with consistent adherence to health and safety standards Foster a community-oriented, welcoming vibe for all patrons Manage POS transactions accurately and efficiently Restock and manage inventory with attention to product freshness and demand Support promotional events and cross-marketing efforts as needed

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality, barista, or bartending experience is preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for plant-based wellness, herbal remedies, or alternative culture is a plus Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be 18+ to serve kava and 21+ if handling kratom or hemp-based products (location-dependent) Team-player mindset with a positive and proactive attitude Why Work at NectarLab?
