Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and hospitality-driven Taproom Manager to lead our front-of-house operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the taproom, managing staff, ensuring a top-tier guest experience, and supporting sales and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day taproom operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise taproom staff, including bartenders and barbacks. Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve any guest issues promptly. Oversee inventory management, ordering, and product rotation. Work with the brewing and marketing teams to plan and execute events, releases, and promotions. Monitor taproom sales, labor costs, and other KPIs; report regularly to ownership. Ensure compliance with all health and alcohol service regulations. Represent the brand with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in bar management role (brewery experience preferred). Knowledge and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry. Cicerone qualified candidates will be preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Standard operating schedule is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 4pm to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 1 to 10pm Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) and ability to obtain necessary local permits. POS system and inventory software experience a plus. Toast or Arryved preferred.
