Beer Manager Shay’s Liquors 278 Route 206 N, Flanders, NJ 07836 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Beer Manager to oversee our beverage program and ensure an exceptional experience for our patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer, strong leadership skills, and a background in the retail liquor business. This role requires a blend of operational expertise and customer service excellence, making it essential for maintaining the quality and reputation of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curate and manage beer inventory (craft, domestic, imported) Establish relationships with distributors and vendors Maintain proper stock levels and manage purchasing orders Monitor product trends and introduce new offerings Merchandising and display setup for promotional or seasonal campaigns Train staff on beer knowledge and customer recommendations Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol laws and regulations Track sales data to optimize inventory and maximize profitability Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beer department Deliver products to our customers using company vehicle

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in retail beer sales, bar management, or a related role In-depth knowledge of beer styles, breweries, and industry trends Strong organizational and inventory management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to lift cases/kegs (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods Must be 21+ years of age Have a valid driver’s license and able to drive If you the necessary skills to lead a dynamic team while delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as our Beer Manager.
