The Role We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, connects with guests, and mentors staff with purpose. The Beverage Manager is also responsible for leading all aspects of beverage purchasing, inventory management, and cost control to ensure the program is at the apex of both quality and financial fitness. - 5 years of restaurant or beverage manager experience in service-oriented, culinary-driven restaurants Deep knowledge of French and domestic wines; familiarity with Crus, classified growths, and the myriad grape varieties and wine styles of major growing regions Knowledge of spirits, cocktail development, and modern mixology techniques Wine certification such as WSET, SWE, and second-level CMS is desired Familiarity with POS systems, inventory systems, CTUIT, OpenTable/Resy A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a desire for continuous learning and growth La Mercerie, affiliated with STARR Restaurants, is an equal opportunity employer.
