Responsible forthe inspection of all sandwiches coming down the line to ensureappearance meets all quality standards and recipe specificationsand pulling rejected products off the discharge belt of theMultivac in a timely manner. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)General

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure foodsafety and integrity.
  • Always follow safety protocols and usedesignated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas.
  • Follow additional tasks as assigned by Production Supervisor orLead.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and learn from people withdifferent backgrounds, cultures, abilities, language, orperspectives. Food Safety and Quality
  • Execute assigned foodsafety, quality and continuous improvement ensuring to support SQFrequirements, regulatory requirements and customers requirements.
  • Pull rejected products off the discharge belt of the Multivac in atimely manner.
  • Inspect raw materials for quality and communicateany deviations.
  • Report any questionable product to LineController, QA, Lead or Production Supervisor before bringing toline. Leadership
  • Follow Policies and Procedures of EA SweenCompany.
  • Respect and cooperate with any work duties that arerequested of you by your Supervisor, Lead or Line Controller.

Lean/Continuous Improvement

  • Control and watch for material waste,i.e, floor waste, over portioning of raw material on sandwiches.
  • Notify maintenance immediately if problems arise with equipment.
  • Contribute to process improvements; participate in lean activities.

Standard Work

  • All products are to be produced torecipe/appearance specifications, using standard work as aguideline on how to perform each position on the line.
  • Ensure thematerial being used is correct.
  • Ensure correct slices of meat orcheese to deliver correct quantity and appearance. Equipment & PPE

  • Able to work well with others and have a teamworkmindset; communicate effectively as possible.
  • Able to maintain agood attendance record.
  • Able to keep work area clean, safe andorganized.
  • Able to perform assigned rotation.
  • Able to lift 30lbs. occasionally.
  • Depending on production schedule, must be ableto lift over 10 lbs. occasionally within a 10-12.5-hour shift,depending on your assigned schedule.
  • Mandatory overtime may berequired. Preferred
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Previousassembly experience
