Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General:
Responsible for guest service, relations, and disputes. Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests. Manage Processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Development of team members, interviews, hiring, and evaluations. Review and manage department’s financial data. Review casino activities and promotional status with Casino Director. Meet with Departmental Directors and managers as necessary. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel
- seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change. Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests, as well as lining up chairs by the slot machines . Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Tools and Technology :
Use of hand-held radio, hand-held scanner, money pouch, telephone and PBX system, and other slot-related tools and supplies and desktop computer.
Licensure :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo Employee Occupational License. Must be at least 21 years of age. Three (3) years of tax returns required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Three to Five years’ experience within the casino department or gaming areas of a casino with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
Skills:
Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times; Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems; Monitoring/Assessing performance of oneself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
