Responsibilities The Shift Manager-Slot is responsible for providing the leadership, integrity, and management of the operations on their shift. This includes c urrency and ticket accountability, employee development, staffing and scheduling, and the management of all procedures and processes that support Slot Operations while maintaining the highest standards of player service. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems, developing positive employee morale. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and at least four years of experience in Slot Operations in a similar position preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. This position always requires standing and walking on the casino floor, frequent finger and manuel dexterity, grasping, bending, reaching motions, consistent with regular office and computer work, lift up to 10 lbs, and hand-eye coordination.

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
