Poker Manager 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 100 East 32nd Street, Hialeah, FL 33013 Job Overview Under general supervision of the Director of Poker, oversees Poker operations and supervises Poker staff. Ensures Casino, and Departmental Policies, and Procedures are followed. Ability to solve complex situations in an effective and efficient manner. Communicate effectively and maintain positive customer relations at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares daily and weekly schedules for Poker Staff. Assist Director of Poker in the preparation of payroll for processing. Responsible for accurate and complete recording of table cards. Responsible to train, monitors, and evaluate the performance of the Poker Staff. Take disciplinary actions when necessary towards Poker Staff. Coordinates the work of the Poker Staff and assigned areas of responsibilities to assure shift continuity. Oversees the day-to day Poker operations including customer relations. Ensures employee/customer compliance and conforms to regulatory, departmental, and Poker Room policies and procedures for efficient gaming operations. Ensures the highest possible standards of customer service are provided and listens and responds to customer and employee concerns and questions. Works with Surveillance in detecting and taking action against cheating, fraud and other disruptions as company policy dictates. Assists in the development and implementation of promotions. Ensures an open atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience At least five years of experience in the Poker operations in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Knowledge of Poker Room rules, regulations and procedures pertinent to Poker operations. Must possess excellent customer relations, leadership and communication skills. High degree of professionalism. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and work ethics. Valid gaming license.
