THE JOB:

Asa Poker Supervisor at MGM Springfield, you will play a crucial role inmanaging the operations of the Poker Room, ensuring that allnon-management staff perform their duties efficiently while maintaininga high standard of customer service. Your leadership will help create awelcoming atmosphere for guests, and you will be responsible forcoordinating daily activities, resolving issues, and enhancing theoverall poker experience at the casino.

THE STARTING RATE

$27.85 perhour

THE DAY-TO-DAY

Supervise assigned operational functions consistentwith the strategic plan, the fiscal budget, and the company’s shortterm and long-term profitability objectives Supervise the delivery andmeasurement of guest service consistent with the company’s core servicestandards and brand attributes Create a work environment that promotesteamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction Activelylisten to employees and customers for input to provide ideas andsuggestions for new products, services, technology and processes toensure company’s competitive position and in anticipation of changingcustomer needs Greet players and maintain the list for seating them intothe poker games Explain games and procedures and assist the guests withany necessary requests

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Complete knowledge of commonrules and procedures of all Poker games General knowledge ofmathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication anddivision Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written andverbal forms Able to lead and mentor a team Ability to multi-task andwork well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Basic knowledge ofcomputer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint aswell as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine Excellentcustomer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectivelycommunicate with all business contacts Has high school diploma, GED orequivalent Has 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as an Poker Dealeror Supervisor
