ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

When functioning as a

Supervisor:

Responsible for dealers being upbeat and friendly while also taking responsibility for following dealing procedures and keeping proper game pace. Inspires with a clear direction and gets others excited about being a part of the company. Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills and acts as a positive role model for all employees. Conveys positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on the guest interaction. Continuously improves service by assessing service problems using player feedback or data. Communicates service problems and team plans in buzz sessions and facilitates problem-solving meetings with team. Immediately addresses service issues and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events and is present and visible at customer events. Takes personal responsibility for creating an atmosphere of luck. Ensures proper procedure is used by all dealers under supervision. Verifies all gaming table transactions in supervised area. Verifies issuance of credit after completion of all authorization procedures. Issues to customers the proper amount of gaming chips after completion of the credit authorization procedures. Dealer:

Conducts assigned game according to procedure. Exchanges cash for gaming chips according to procedure. Cooperates with other Dealers when assigned to the same game (Craps). Controls pace of the game. Informs the Casino Games Supervisor of any request or unusual play. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Employees will be evaluated periodically to determine suitability to continue in dual-rate function. Position is located in a cigarette smoke environment. Inspires others by demonstrating a high level of commitment and energy in all endeavors. EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Thorough knowledge of all poker games and operations. Two years experience as a poker dealer in a casino environment. One year supervisory experience in poker room operations.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the hotel Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine, and photocopier. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
