Reports To:

Amenity Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and service-oriented Pool Monitor / Facility Attendant to oversee daily operations of our community Amenity Center, including the clubhouse, pool, and playground areas. The ideal candidate will provide a welcoming environment for residents, ensure facility rules are followed, and support the smooth operation of events and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Open the clubhouse in the morning and prepare it for resident use; close and secure the clubhouse at the end of the day, including setting the alarm and locking all doors. Turn music on/off at the beginning and end of each day. Set up and break down furniture or equipment for events and meetings, as requested. Monitor resident use of amenities to ensure compliance with community rules and guidelines. Conduct routine checks of the pool area, clubhouse, and playground to deter unauthorized use. Remain on-site in the amenity areas during hours of operation when more than one staff member is on duty. Engage with residents professionally and handle disputes or confrontations by reporting to the Amenity Manager or local authorities when necessary. Report any maintenance or repair needs to Amenity Management promptly. Assist Amenity Management with additional tasks and duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to handle minor conflicts and enforce rules in a calm and professional manner Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light setup/cleanup tasks

Duration:

Indefinite, no less than 52 weeks. 16 hours per week.
