Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Slot Floor Person to join our dynamic gaming operations team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth slot machine operations and maintaining compliance with gaming regulations.
Verify and process slot machine jackpots according to established proceduresProvide superior customer service and maintain positive interactions with guestsPromote and explain Players Club card program benefits to customersHandle financial transactions accurately and maintain proper money flow during shiftsMonitor gaming floor for customer needs and maintain cleanliness standardsAssist in training new team members as neededRespond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficientlyEnsure compliance with all gaming regulations and internal proceduresCommunicate service issues to appropriate personnelMaintain awareness of suspicious activities and report security concernsQualificationsMust be 21 years of age or olderSuperior customer service and communication skillsProven experience in money handling and basic math skillsAbility to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses and certificationsProficiency in operating slot machines and related gaming equipmentExperience with computer systems, radio communication, and adding machinesPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsFlexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesMinimum 2 months of gaming industry experience or related customer service experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentKnowledge of gaming compliance regulations and proceduresAdditional InformationBoyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
