Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for cleaning all slot machines, floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators. Responsible for vacuuming all floors. Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restrooms. Mopping floors around the bars, restrooms and entrance. Responsible for removing all trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans. Trash and debris to be deposited in the outside dumpsters. Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees. Participate in routine drills as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
EQUIPMENT/TECHNICAL
Must be able to operate a vacuum cleaner, hand held radio, hand tools such as broom, dustpan, and mop. Use of chemicals for cleaning and personal protective equipment.
WORK AREA
Casino environment exposed to hot and cold temperatures, excessive noise levels, bright lights, and smoke. High rise hotel and atrium. Casino environment may be located on a boat and/or floating barge. Use of elevator and stairs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing 5% Lifting 20% (overhead, arms length up to 20 lbs., up to 100 lbs with assistance) Bending 30% (from waist) Walking 40% Climbing 5%
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. One year experience in cleaning public buildings and/or facilities preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Ability to read, follow instructions, and understand visual aids. Must be able to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive or confined environment.
