Mutuels Clerk- Live Racing Season Batavia Downs Gaming 8315 Park Road, Batavia, NY 14020 GENERAL
STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under supervision with little latitude for independent or unreviewed action, responsible for the selling and cashing of wagers at Batavia Downs Gaming
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accepts and accounts for wagers received in specified events. Cashes winning tickets, examining for authenticity. Assists in performing miscellaneous routine tasks such as housekeeping,preparing morning lines, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have the ability to handle money, deal effectively with fellow employees and establish a favorable rapport with customers.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must satisfactorily complete a training course.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to obtain a license from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board.
