Host/Team Member Little Bird Fairhope Fairhope, AL 36532 Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about menu items and restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Handle phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with reservations or inquiries. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with guest services as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations and guest inquiries professionally. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
