The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Host/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment they arrive until they leave. Duties Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to optimize flow and minimize wait times. Assist servers by running food, clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Help with food service by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing overall guest relations. Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests accurately. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety within the restaurant environment. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries over the phone. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
