Sever/Hostess Stone Age III Korean BBQ and Hotpot Birmingham, AL 35244 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that each guest has an exceptional dining experience. This role requires multitasking abilities and a friendly demeanor, as you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in their overall satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations. Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Experience Previous experience in a hospitality or fine dining setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for order processing. Experience with food preparation is a plus, along with knowledge of kitchen operations. Aloha POS experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
