The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high standards of guest relations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area, ensuring it is presentable at all times. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or providing information as needed. Assist in coordinating special events or large parties, ensuring all guest needs are met. Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall dining experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and relationship building. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
