The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
